Why do so many men today show their boxers in public?

I agree completely. I have asked my self that question ever since the fad started about 20 years ago or so. They truly aren't to kept or attractive looking. My son does the same thing and I get so mad at him. He's 27. Sometimes I think they are trying to hang onto a time long past them.
